Glenelg beach is Adelaide’s most popular and easiest to get to by tram from the CBD. There is sooooo much to do, see, eat and play.
The main attraction for kids and families is The Beachouse entertainment complex. Waterslides, dodgem cars, mini golf, train rides, carousel, arcade games, bumper boats, play castle and even a ferris wheel will keep your kids busy for an entire day! There’s a café inside too if you get hungry or just need an ice cream on a warm day.
There’s a variety of options to consider when deciding what you’d like to do during your visit – and this info is best found on the website. Basically you get a “fun card” which either has a time limit, a certain number of credits, or allows you to do a certain number of activities. For example when we took our three year old, she got the “Kidz Kraze” which included the play castle, carousel and train ride.
The Beachouse is fun for adults as well as the kids. A must do when you come to beautiful Glenelg. It’s a good idea to allow for a whole day to explore what Glenelg has to offer.
