For the past week, the kids have been asking me if the Santa messages have arrived yet. Since it’s inception in 2008, the kids have been receiving a message from Santa through the Portable North Pole so each year it is expected.

This week, the messages we sent and each year they don’t fail to impress with a new message every year to take into account previous users. If you’re not familiar with the Portable North Pole, it’s a service that provides personalized video messages from Santa to the kids and kids-at-heart.

The No 1 mobile Santa app is considered a cherished, modern tradition with more than 125 million videos viewed worldwide. PNP lets you create and send adorable videos and calls online or with the free mobile app.

The PNP is an opportunity for parents to not only get kids excited about Christmas, but to also encourage children to be on their best behaviour with Santa giving a special “naughty” or “nice” read out at the end of the message. Have they made the good list this year? Scroll down to see our Santa messages and reactions.

Each message is custom made to each child giving parents the opportunity to add personal photos and items that might be on their Christmas list this year. It only takes a few minutes to craft a magical video from Santa that your child, friends and family members will remember forever.  It’s so easy to use and only takes a short time…especially if you have been a previous user then a lot of your information is saved.

Simply visit the PNP website or download the mobile app on iOS and Android.

This year there is only one free child message and one free adult message to choose from. If you become a regular PNP user or have multiple children you might want to upgrade to the premium service giving more options with different custom made videos.
The premium package includes the Video Pass ($9.99) or Magic Pass ($12.99/iOS and $12.99/Android).

Both packages provide enchanting premium video storylines to choose from, with each offering five or more minutes of footage featuring several adorable experiences to watch, such as visiting with the elves as they work on your Big Book or see them in busy with the reindeer on Christmas Eve, as well as the Reaction Recorder (mobile app only). They also let you create an unlimited number of premium videos, and come with a special “Santa’s Coming” video to watch on Christmas Eve and birthday messages. The Magic Pass also includes 20 wonderful holiday messages from Santa that kids can listen to on the phone, and four story time videos read by Santa himself, made available each week leading up to Christmas.

The call from Santa is very easy to use. Just select the message you want Santa to send and then when ready, put in your phone number to call. When you answer it says that Santa is calling through to (the child’s name) giving you time to find them and put them on.

New this year is a special Reaction Recorder (mobile app only) that lets you capture the moment of joy and surprise when Santa Claus reveals whether your child is on his “naughty” or “nice” list – creating a cherished keepsake for parents. We tried the Reaction Recorder this year and the call from Santa. Our 8 year old was more convinced than the older children but still was nice to use to make the ‘Doubting Thomas’ think twice about their thoughts about Santa.

In addition to the Reaction Recorder, the mobile app also offers fun extras for littles, including holiday games to play, like shaking ornaments off a tree, and having Santa’s elves repeat what you say back to you in their endearing voices.

To help spread a little extra cheer to those who may need it the most, PNP donates five percent of all online sales proceeds to more than 40 children’s hospitals worldwide. More than $300,000 has been donated on behalf of PNP’s fans since 2012. It’s so nice to know that although PNP is international it supports local hospitals in Australia such as Mater Little Miracles, Brisbane, The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Sydney and The Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation, Melbourne.

PNP is enjoyed in 180 countries and in six different languages: English, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish. To keep the magic alive this Christmas, the Portable North Pole is your must go to Christmas resource….the kids will not be disappointed….everyone needs a little magic in their lives at Christmas!
