They say everyone is good at something but if you are especially good at LEGO® creations then, LEGO® Ideas is the place for you.

LEGO® Ideas  is a website run by Chaordix and The LEGO Group, which allows users to submit ideas for LEGO products to be turned into potential sets available commercially, with the original designer receiving 1% of the royalties.

This is the place where you can submit a LEGO creation that could potentially be turned into a LEGO set to be purchased by LEGO fans all over the world. If your creation gets enough likes by other members, it is flagged by LEGO to be rolled out internationally.

Two LEGO Ideas members, Grant Davis & Jason Allemann submitted an original creation back in August 2016 was adapted into the official LEGO version by LEGO Designer Wesley Talbott with all the printed elements and Minifigures being created by Graphic Designer Crystal Marie Fontan.

LEGO has approved the first-ever official buildable pop-up book in LEGO history. The set includes 859 LEGO elements which will give you the chance to play out 2 classic fairy tales in the form of the Little Red Riding Hood and Jack and the Beanstalk. To help you create these stories, and your own, are 4 new LEGO minifigures in the form of Little Red Riding Hood, Grandmother, the Wolf, the Giant. The set however also includes 1 new microfigure representing Jack.

  • Lego Pop Up Book

Open the book and up pops grandmother’s lovely cottage with swinging door and an interior so you and your family can recreate the memorable story. Or swap out the scene and climb to the top of the beanstalk in search of treasure in the giant’s castle, but microfigure Jack better keep an eye open for the hungry minifigure giant!

This LEGO set includes a booklet with a short history of pop-up books, a condensed history of each fairy tale in the set, as well as information about its fan designers and LEGO designers, as has become customary.

The LEGO Ideas Pop Up Book will be available from and LEGO stores around the world from the 1st of November, 2018
