Global toy phenomenon ShopkinsTM by Moose Toys has announced the release of a second feature film: ShopkinsTM: World Vacation, bringing to life the characters that have captured the imagination of millions of children around the globe.

Produced in partnership with Universal Pictures Home Entertainment Content Group, the film will officially launch with an exclusive pink carpet premiere event in Melbourne on Saturday 23rd of September 2017, followed by a limited theatrical release from the 5th of October 2017.

Since launching in 2014, ShopkinsTM collectibles have taken the world by storm, consistently remaining at the top of hot toy lists with over 140 different ShopkinsTM characters released each season, and a range of Shoppies Dollas available in over 100 countries world-wide. The animated webisode series has amassed over 180 million views on YouTube alone and last year’s direct to video release, ShopkinsTM: Chef Club, was the #1 Family direct to TV (DTV) release in the US, UK and Australia.

Moose Toys, the Australian company behind the Shopkins sensation, said the move to dominate the home entertainment space was the next logical step for the franchise.

We have created this full-length film to take our fans on the next adventure in the ShopkinsTM journey,” said Co-CEO, Paul Solomon.

The long-awaited second movie sees Kooky Cookie win the trip of a lifetime to London, but it’s not long before plans start going awry. Soon her and her pals are hopping from Paris to New York to Tokyo. But with the mischievous Biscuit Bandits on the loose, can the ShopkinsTM and Shoppies save the day?

The film features a high-flying new soundtrack including the catchy single ‘Ready to Go’ available now on iTunes, Spotify and Google Play.
