It seems that every movie director has decided that 2018 is the year that all the movie sequels come out for some of the best kids movies from previous years….and what a year 2018 will be for fabulous movies if the release dates currently stay as they are.

Gnomeo & Juliet: Sherlock Gnomes
The sequel to Gnomeo & Juliet released in 2011 staring James McAvoy  and Emily Blunt will be back for Sherlock Gnomes with a release date of March 2018.  The storyline sees Gnomeo & Juliet, recruit renown detective, Sherlock Gnomes (played by Johnny Depp) to investigate the mysterious disappearance of other garden ornaments.

Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck It Ralph 2
Six years after Wreck It Ralph entertained families back in 2012, Ralph Breaks the Internet is set to be released in March 2018. The story will centre around Ralph’s adventures in the Internet data space when a Wi-Fi router gets plugged into the arcade as he must find a replacement part to fix Sugar Rush. Along the way, Ralph and his best friend Vanellope von Schweetz encounter new customs, worlds, and characters, such as the trendy algorithm and even the Disney Princesses.

The Incredibles 2
The Incredibles 2 sees us waiting 14 years since the initial release of The Incredibles when it hit cinemas back in 2004. The original cast will reprise their roles of Mr & Mrs Incredible and in the sequel the storyline sees Bob Parr (Mr. Incredible)  left to care for Jack-Jack while Helen (Elastigirl) is out saving the world

Hotel Transylvania 3
Featuring the reprised roles of Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg and Selena Gomez, it is the third installment in the Hotel Transylvania franchise and the sequel to Hotel Transylvania 2.
The film centers on Dracula, Mavis, Johnny and the rest of the Drac Pack as they take a vacation on a luxury Monster Cruise Ship, where Dracula then falls in love with the ship’s captain, Ericka, who’s secretly the descendant of Abraham Van Helsing, the notorious monster slayer.

If you were an Enchanted fan starting Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey, you will be excited to hear that next year a sequel to the first movie will be released called Disenchanted. Ten years after her happily ever after, Giselle questions her happiness, inadvertently turning the lives of those in the real world and Andalasia upside down in the process.
