Taronga Zoo is one of Sydney’s most visited attractions by families and tourists. It is located on the North Shore of Sydney at Bradley’s Head Mosman and can be accessed by ferry, bus or car. If you plan on coming by public transport, make sure you check out the discounted combined public transport and zoo entry. Parking is $17 a day.

It’s always best to plan ahead and with over 4000 animals to see, you might want to download and print off the Taronga Zoo map before you arrive to plan your day.
Get up close and personal with some of Taronga Zoo’s most amazing animals in an Animal Encounter. Check out one of the keeper talks or shows scheduled daily or take the kids to the Lemur Forest Adventure which is a state of the art playground where kids play and climb right next to the lemurs.

Every school holidays, children aged between 5 & 10 years of age are invited to Taronga Zoo to learn about animals and the environment they live in.

Catch the Sky Safari for a birds eye view of the zoo which operates between 9.30am and 4.30pm each day. For those wanting something a little more, check out the Roar and Snore experience where visitors can not only sleep amongst the animals but also enjoy a night zoo safari.

Taronga Zoo is located at Bradley’s Head Rd Mosman.
